I am calling it "Confessions of a Roadkill Christian" because about ten years ago it felt like life had knocked me down - like a dump truck at 90 miles an hour. I walked around my everyday life feeling like I had tire-tracks tattoed on my forehead, my own symbol of personal failure. I especially felt this way about church. I had grown up a good girl on the front row of my church but I had become a hit-or-miss church attender with zero capacity for giving or serving. I was a total mess and I felt like surely God must be eternally disappointed with me for responding to some hard circumstances with weakness and a lack of faith.
What I discovered in this place of brokenness was that God still loved me even when I was a wreck. It startled me how gentle and kind God would be to me and how tenderly and patiently He guided me into healing.
This is a little bit of my story and I'm sharing it with the hope that it encourages you and speaks hope to your heart.

Loved your book! I read it in one day because I felt the God was using your words to speak to my heart. Thank you for sharing your story with us all. I was looking for the study guide that said was available at the beginning of your book. I would love to read through the book again with the study guide and possibly with a few friends of mine. Do you know where I might find it?
